Teresa is an amazing host, she was very kind and helpful through our whole stay. The hotel is beautiful and the location is great. It has a nice common area, a nice kitchen with all you need (even free water, coffee and tea) and comfortable bedroom.

Very nice room and bathroom. The Bed was very comfortable with a quiet ceiling fan so we never needed AC. Great location to the bars downtown and to the free beaches just north of town. The owner is very nice and the place is super quiet despite being so close to the bars. Water available which I love. Hate buying bottled water. I also love that check out is not 11am. We would stay here again if not renting a motorbike or car. However, we would choose somewhere else with parking availability.

We are frequent travelers to Cozumel and have stayed in many different places so my review is comparing this place to others. The price point of this place is about 20% higher than the other places we usually stay. We ended up renting a motorbike and there is no parking available. The owner was nice enough to let us park in her garage for the night but if you plan to rent a motorbike then this place is not for you. A car can work if you can find a place on the street but it is not recommended to leave your motorbike parked outside all night. The other place we stay at most of the time has an electric lock which is so convenient for entering and exiting the property. Might be nice to upgrade to this. I am not a fan of padlocks. Having no TV is not a biggy but if it is raining hard it would be nice to have a smart tv.

Safe and quiet location close to restaurants, cafes, and shops, beautiful garden.

Good location, tucked away from the garish seafront. Teresa is a considerate and pleasant host.

No complaints about the accommodation, though Cozumel wasn't to my taste.

The location couldn’t be better – it’s just steps from the ferry, making it easy to explore the island. Plus, you’re surrounded by fantastic restaurants and lively bars, ensuring there's always something to do nearby. What truly stood out was the friendly staff, who went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. I highly recommend Casa del Solar Central to anyone looking for a perfect base to experience Cozumel!

We were so happy at Casa del Solar. Can 100% recommend and would always come back. We stayed at the newer part oft he hotel at the higher flor, which was perfect: - Optimal location at the center. Quiet, safe, and walkable. 5 min to ferry. Good scooter rental and dive shop almost next door - Very welcoming and lovely staff. The owner Theresa is so kind and helpful! - Everything clean and absolutely spotless - Room spacious, bright, friendly, with balcony. Simply good vibes - Good common areas, including filtered water, fridge, coffee/tea, games, drinks/snacks for purchase (at fair rates) etc. - Nice courtyard to relax and meet other guests - VERY SPECIAL: We forgot an item and found out only after our departure. Theresa went out of her way to help us get the item back. So special - THANKS!
