Takapuna Accommodation

Loved the bedroom looking out onto the pool and beautiful gardens. Great lounge with Netflix etc The location was fabulous and The beach Cafe just a short walk with great food and staff. Beaches are lovely in close proximity. 10/10

perfect location..comfy bed

I never realized that we were sharing space..lacked privacy the bathroom drains

The location is great and Lesley is lovely. She's a great communicator, and the beach walks in the morning were perfect. The bed is comfortable.

Lesley is lovely but there are improvements required for it to be comfortable stay. In the bathroom the cabinet next to the mirror is full of her ornaments and bath salts etc. The trolley/shelf beside the sink is completely rusty and looks nasty. The bedroom is not very big and there is nowhere to put the suitcase so I had to leave it open on the floor which meant I had to step over it constantly. The wardrobe was full of her items so there were no shelves available. The feather down blanket on the end of the bed smelt like it had been in damp storage for months so I folded it up and put i down on the floor as far away from the bed as I could. The 4 pillows were all super thin so that was a bit tricky to work with. It does state on the info that it's not the whole house but I missed that bit when I booked it so that's my own fault. When I came out of the bathroom one morning (with a towel around me) there was a guy just leaving through the front door. I'm really not comfortable with living with strangers to that degree so I won't be back for that reason.

Nothing really. Maybe the curtain being a door would be helpful but it was fine.

Me and my sister had a great time here. Location is perfect. It is right in the centre of Takapuna. The place is clean. Close to the beach and restaurants. The hosts were so good. I couldn’t recommend it more.
