"Good"

The room was a good size and was clean on arrival. Thr bed was comfortable and the location was a short walk into the town centre. We parked with no issues.

The room was on the second floor,the main bannister is wobbly and didn't feel stable followed by some very steep stairs leading to our room. The lock on our door was problematic and you had to pull the door towards you to release the lock. There was only 2 sachets of coffee in our room so couldn't make a drink on arrival as would have to forfeit the morning coffee. On day one,we waited half an hour for breakfast and other people that came in after us seemed to get theirs before us. When it finally came we had to wait a further 5 minutes for toast and butter. We received no room service so no bins emptied or towels replenished. For these reasons we wouldn't stay again. We didn't think it was good value for money.

"Won’t go again"

Location. Easy check in. Clean

Bathroom tiny. Couldn’t dry yourself in there. Water from shower only came out in the middle. Tv remote not working properly No hot water the next morning as boiler off. Not there fault and gave us a small refund

Excellent location in Bakewell, short easy walk to the shops and restaurants. The room was clean and airy. The bed was lovely and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and the hosts were friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend Avenue House to anyone wanting a comfortable and welcoming stay.

Our room was lovely and was a really good size, bathroom was a decent size with an amazing walk in shower, breakfast was really good and so were the hosts, would definitely return.
