Foley's Guesthouse & Self Catering Holiday Homes

A great place in the very heart of Kenmare. We had the luck to get a room at Foley´s on short notice in Kenmare on the edge of the Ring of Kerry in mid-May. It is a typical Irish Bar/Restaurant/Hotel, as you would expect. Even though there was Live music during our stay, it was not audible in our room on the second floor, so we had no trouble sleeping early. The room was spacious and had everything we needed, includig en-suite bathroom with a well-functioning shower. The breakfast menu also had everything you´d expect and was made fresh and quick on order. A very recommendable place if you want to stay in the area.

Great central location. Read reviews before booking about noise complaints which was a bit harsh,.. a bit like booking a campsite in the highlands and moaning about midges!!!

Locatie in het centrum, netjes. Pub en restaurant op begane grond.

Personeel was aardig en beleefd, maar niet heel vriendelijk. Wasbakje op de badkamer is erg klein, lastig met tanden poetsen

Location , it was clean . Bed comfortable, staff friendly , host was very welcoming when we both arrived.

The only thing to point out was the shower tray in the bathroom was very slippery, I understand to clean a mat after each guest not ideal but it’s a taught of the safety side of things going forward

Our double room was really cramped and all of the lobby spaces were either closed or being used as part of the restaurant
