The house is very charming and the owners are so lovely and helpful. The town is fun to walk around, close to the beach and many restaurants.

Fantastic communication. Free shuttle from airport at a late hour with perfect instructions and smiling happy driver, Lovingstone to pick us up. Deb was waiting and explained a couple of things, most importantly what time we wanted our delicious breakfast - talk about super service. We really enjoyed our stay in your beautiful house especially breakfast time 👏. We also appreciated the bottled water on arrival, the fan and aircon and the pool. Totally recommend for a comfortable stay.

Not that I didn't like it at all but for "princesses" the shower wasn't operating in our room but no problem for us.... running water from the tap. Whatever it takes right. Also bit of a walk to the beach but you're there to explore and if it's too dark or too hot small tuktuks ride away.

Friendly and accommodating. Good breakfast, hot shower. Arranging transfer for us in the middle of the night was awesome! I wasn't aware they would arrange other tours for you, but the husband is also a tour guide. Nice welcome to Sri Lanka.

When you arrive into an unfamiliar country at 4am after 24 hours travel, what you really need is: A clean, friendly, safe environment with a pick up that is guaranteed and hassle free. What we got was exactly this but much more. Deb, the host was smiling when we arrived- no mean feat at 4am. Our room was beautiful and had all facilities including a hot shower( when I turned the dial the correct way. Lol) The property is very stylish. Lots of tips provided. We only spent 7 hours at the property, but it was just what we needed.

There were a lot of mosquitoes in our hut

Comfy stay at Debs homestay and she was very accommodating when I needed to stay an extra night to recover from my flu.

Fairly good location as well - close to Negambo beach and town is only 5m on Tuk-tuk.

Great option to start or conclude your trip to Sri Lanka. Deb and Joseph were kind and helpful during our short stay! Joseph picked us up from the airport during the middle of the night which was so kind (and one of the main reasons we chose this guesthouse). It's near to the train station which is really handy if you're heading north. Breakfast was sufficient and there is filtered water available to top up bottles which was great. The bathroom had a bit of a strange smell and the mattresses were very thin. The pool was refreshing and you can walk into town easily. Great value for what's offered!
