The owners are super kind and caring. The husband took us to the fish market and a church and a market, and they also recommended restaurants that were super nice. Rooms are clean and the pool is amazing! They arranged cool beers whenever we wanted it. Would recommend to everyone!

Lovely guesthouse, fantastic host, incredibly helpful

The apartment was in perfect condition. The room and bathroom very clean. The charming host, she was like our mother, she helped us at all times and it would be a place she would return to without a doubt. The pool is perfect for a dip. Breakfast is complete and very rich. If you need a place to sleep in Negombo this is your place.

Cleanliness, calm/quiet environment, hospitality, personalized experience, very organized and professional host. The walk to the beach feels safe. Smaller but fully stocked grocery store nearby (2min walk).

The anti-leak plastic mattress cover was a bit too hot to sleep on.

Olideb Gedara is a superb guest house, which is very comfortable and clean. It is within walking distance of shops, bars and restaurants. Debs was the perfect host, very friendly and available to offer advice. Breakfast was lovely and various options available. Complimentary shuttle service from the airport was a bonus as was the tour around the town. I would not hesitate to recommend, and we would definitely stay again.

Deb was super nice and welcoming. Taking a bath in the pool after a hot and tired day was a luxury! And breakfast was delicious and abundant! We will come back here another night at the end of our trip!

I'd have liked to have a mosquito net, but it wasn't a big problem.

Deb was such a lovely host. Beautiful house with separate wing for guest rooms. Wonderful breakfast spread. Comfortable bed.
