The Barn and Pinn Cottage

breakfast was excellent Peter is ex chef makes his own sausages, everything was local and cooked to perfection. cleanliness was great and our hosts informed the local restaurant which was 2mins up the drive that we were stopping at the guest house. pub staff were very friendly and the meals were good.

with the house being 15th century access to the bedrooms was tricky with the tight staircase, plus you had to remember to duck!.

Everything 🥰- we were met by the owners on arrival who helped take our luggage to our room. Nothing was too much trouble for Kim and Peter . Very friendly. Breakfast was delicious. A real bonus - will certainly return and highly recommend to anyone else.

The character was exceptional old thatched blending into the countryside so completely. Birds outside the window while you eat breakfast and comfort and quiet.

The cottage was ideally located on the outskirts of Sidmouth in a very quiet position at the end of a lane. The room was very well presented, very clean, warm and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with a choice of menu. Kim and Peter made us very welcome and made excellent hosts. Great to be able to park the car outside and only a short drive into Sidmouth.

The breakfast was wonderful. The owners were so friendly, learnt our names and were very responsive. The location was wonderful, very close to Sidmouth and the coast. Right next to a great pub.
