Sigiri Mount Villa & Restaurant

Anura and his wife are brilliant cooks they really do magic in the kitchen. The rooms were clean and cosy perfect in size for the stay of our family. Also they were very very helpful for us to organize the busses and Tuk Tuk and it was just very nice to have them at our table talking and making friend!

2 out of 3 beds where cofortable. The french size bed would need a new matrace.

The host family was very welcoming and we loved the garden restaurant. The food was excellent.

The hosts were incredibly helpful and very attentive. The food was very good- had great Sri Lankan breakfasts and rice and curry for dinner.

Quite a lot of mosquitos! Further from town than we thought and tuk tuks can be quite expensive so something to bear in mind

Food is very good

Amazing experience with Anura and his family. They made us feel like we were at home. The rooms are simple, but cosy, with hot water and A/C. Very well located. The breakfast was very savory. Quality-price excellent. We strongly recommend this stay.

The owners are a very warm friendly kind couple, so welcoming & hospitable, any food they prepare is delicious and generous proportions, proud gardeners, enjoyed sharing information and as two women travelling alone, we felt safe. Close the atm for cash (guarded) and other restaurants. Tuk Tuks are easy to grab or alternatively The Rock is a shaded 5 km walk one way.

Shower didn’t have hot water but with warm weather, didn’t bother us.

We had a great stay. The accommodation was very clean including a mosquito net and hot water. The owners were super friendly and gave us tips for activities. But the best thing was the food. We got something authentic from Sri Lankan cuisine every day. The many locals have confirmed the quality. Thank you for a wonderful stay. I would love to come back!

The villa was in a great location and had a fan and ac to keep us cool. The food from the restaurant was exceptional and the staff were extremely friendly and always happy to help arrange activities and transport. Highly recommend!

For the price you get so much things. We came late very tired and they made us exellent dinner with such a big portion. They have cats and dogs there also

Room is not isolated very good at least the standard room with no ac which is also turned to the road side and the dogs are very loud during the night
