Sigiri Mount Villa & Restaurant

Breakfast was good and well-prepared. Despite some problems, the owners were very helpful and kind, always trying their best to make our stay better. With some improvements to the rooms and facilities, this could be a much more comfortable place to stay.

Our stay at this hotel was a mixed experience. The room we had was quite small having one double and one single bed, and there were a lot of mosquitos, which made it uncomfortable at times. Also there was no trash bin in the bedroom and the toiletries (hand wash, shower gel, shampoo) came in very small refill packaging, which wasn’t very convenient. The second day I had to ask for extra toilet paper as only one and halfway used was already in the toilet. Dinner wasn’t really to our taste as the food was too spicy for us. My aunt’s room also had some issues – three frogs appeared from the bathroom sink, which was quite surprising, and her boiler wasn’t working, so she had to use our shower instead.

Les hôtes étaient des plus adorables, ils étaient aux petits soins. Le cadre étaient également très bien malgré la proximité du centre, qui est un vrai plus.

La amabilidad de los dueños (siempre dispuestos a ayudarte con la planificación de tu viaje) y la calidad y cantidad del desayuno son los puntos sobresalientes de este alojamiento. Las habitaciones muy limpias y con agua caliente y aire acondicionado. Un 10 y totalmente recomendable para tu estancia en la zona

Fueron muy amables con nosotras desde el momento que llegamos hasta que nos fuimos. Nos prepararon un desayuno muy bueno y nos recomendó mucho sitios para visitar. En general una experiencia para repetir

Accueil très sympathique avec cocktail de bienvenue et une grande volonté de nous transmettre tous les bons plans de la Sigirya dès l'arrivée. Anu et sa femme sont aux petits soins pour que votre séjour à Sigyria soit au top. On ne manque de rien, savon, serviette et même kit petit déjeuner sont fournis dans la chambre.

Il s'agit d'une auberge plus que d'un hôtel. Le confort est sommaire, les chambres petites mais climatisées. L'emplacement n'est pas central, il faut prendre un tuk tuk pour aller dans le centre. Néanmoins, ça reste une bonne adresse pour visiter les différents points d'intérêt de la ville, comme le Lion's Rock qui est tout proche.

I loved it here. The family running it were absolutely lovely and made us feel so welcome. The food was lovely and so we ate breakfast and dinner there each day. The air con was lovely and cold. It was very good value for money.

It was a beautiful stay with my family. Anu and his wife are so nice, very helpfull and friendly. Great kitchen as Anu is the chef. Location just in the middle of the turistic atractions (Dambulla Temple, Lion Rock, Safari).
