Wonderful stay in the heart of Ortigia, lovely quirky building/rooms, very clean and comfortable, dreamy breakfast - thank you very much! 🙂

Fantastic location right in the heart of Ortigia. Lovely place, nicely decorated, with a clean and comfortable room. We felt at home! Coffee machine, tea, croissants and cannolis are available all day. The hostess, Giulianna, was very friendly and helpful.

The breakfast is on the nice rooftop terrace but to go there, the guests themselves have to climb a steep staircase balancing their tray. We went there one day however, on the other day, we decided to have breakfast in our room.

L'Acanto is fantastic place into the hart of Ortigia convenient to the bus station and to all landmarks. Our room was very spacious with comfortable bed and new bathroom. Very nice and worm welcom from Giuliana. She is so friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast. Were very plased with our stay. Hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

An exceptional place with outstanding hospitality! This location has so much soul and warmth, thanks to Giuliana, who made our time in Syracuse truly special. This place has an artistic vibe with great attention to detail and no compromise on comfort. The breakfast was extraordinary, it is served on the rooftop terrace with a selection of local pastries and fresh products, freshly squeezed orange juice, and excellent coffee. L’Acanto is situated in an incredible location, on one of the most beautiful streets in Ortigia, making it an ideal base for exploring. We can’t wait to return!

It's hard to imagine a better location in Ortigia. It is very central, but still quiet with very little traffic noise. Our hostess was very kind and helpful, and the breakfast she served every morning was excellent; bread with sesame seeds, ham cheese (pecorino, ricotta etc), olives, dried tomatoes, jam... and freshly pressed orange juice and coffee.

The breakfast was great and pleasant on the rooftop terrace. The room was big and nicely decorated and comfortable. This is one of our top stays in all of Sicily.

Nothing

The location can not be beat. Many restaurants and shops and of course the Piazza del Duomo just steps outside the door. A 37 minute walk over the bridge to the Neapolis Archeological Parc. Guilianna was very helpful in making suggestions to see and how to get there and she presented an amazing breakfast each morning. Easy to get to and from the airport by bus.

It was perfect for my last minute 2 night stay.

Belle et grande chambre, confortable. The restaurant on the ground floor cam be noisy. Problem of communication on the first night. You must know that only parking with 24/h fortait is Talete. But we still hab a charming stay in Ortigia.
