Walking distance from Ortigia’s main piazza in the heart of Isle Ortigia. Restaurants and cultural sights within minutes by foot from L’Acanto.

Noise from the restaurant below the unit. However, in all fairness, previous reviews provided advance notification and the host offered rooms without balconies that would have been less noisy.

Fantastic location in the middle of Oritigia. Beautiful charming rooms, always kept spotlessly clean. The rooftop breakfast service, prepared daily by the owner, Giulianna, was just amazing. Guilianna was also incredibly helpful and accommodating all during our stay. Excellent service, and highly reccomended!

We stayed here for 4 nights. We had arranged to drop off our rental car and Giulianna had arranged a pick from there. There was a problem with the drop off and upon arrival at the bnb Giulianna was wonderful in sorting out our problem. We had the ‘key’ room, which was very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast on the terrace was a great way to start the day, Giulianna prepared breakfast with produce picked up from the market. The location is perfect, being in the centre of Ortigia and convenient to everything, which was ideal as everything was within walking distance. Finally, Giulianna arranged a airport shuttle for our departure. Our communication before and during our stay was excellent, all in all, a very enjoyable stay. Thank you, Giulianna.

We notice some reviews comment on noise from the pub/restaurant below but it did not bother us, but may have been more noticeable in other rooms.

very nice little spotlessly clean hotel in the centre of Ortigia.. with pretty, cool, white bedrooms.. and a splendid breakfast.. lots of buffet items yoghurt, juice pastries, jam nuts and so on

NOT the hotel's fault but it was slightly noisy at times because of a cafe downstairs [not anything to do the hotel]

The location is absolutely beautiful, just in the heart of Oritigia island, 6-7 minutes from both beaches in Ortigia, Cala Rossa, and Spiaggia Diana nel Forte. A cute restaurant is located just downstairs, Chiodo - showroom con cucina. The room was beautiful and cleaned every day, the breakfast was very good, and there were multiple options, from the pastries common in an Italian breakfast to different types of cheese, salami, and prosciutto. Giuliana and Lidia are wonderful and kind hosts. Everything was just perfect!

L'Acanto is situated in the heart of Ortigia Island, surrounded by many restaurants and pubs. Nevertheless, the room was quite and comfortable. The breakfast is amazing and every day it is possible to choose among many fresh local products.

It was lovely to have breakfast on the rooftop during our stay.
