Anchorage Guest House, St Ives

We really enjoyed our stay at The Anchorage in St Ives. Location was great. The whole house was very clean and tidy. Facilities were very good. Extra tea and coffee was good plus fruit and flapjacks were a bonus. The bed was very comfortable. Bed linen and towels were good quality. The stairs were a little tricky to navigate but didn't affect our stay but may impact on less mobile guests. We would definitely stay again

Location is perfect, just near everything, the beaches, the restaurants all at short walking distance. The room we stayed in was comfortable. We appreciated the host's attention to details, I definitely recommend this guest house.

All was excellent

Charming cottage from the 1730s done up with the very highest quality goods. Bed extremely comfortable, all linens were top notch. Really lovely oil paintings of the area on the walls. Felt like I was immersed in history, yet in great comfort. Recommendations given in the guest folder led me to wonderful restaurants.

Very central location.

Really central location, charming house with lovely styling.

The stairs were tricky with bags, but this was the price to pay for a beautiful heritage building. We didn’t get to meet our host so didn’t have an opportunity to connect with her. She left really clear instructions though, so we were never stuck.

Breakfast not available but not a problem me ty if places to get breakfast and would recommend the Troff Scoff. Sea views and comfortable room

Steep and narrow stairs to attic bedroom. And low beams . It’s made in clear in Anchorage’s website but not on book g.com Not a problem for me as I am only 5 ft tall but my husband is 6ft 4 !
