Great location in a beautiful city Exceptionally kind owner Lovely premises very peaceful Great ice cream shop next door

Most apartments have lift access but not ours No on site parking although 24 hour relatively close however do pre check directions as we didn’t and got lost

Beautiful room in a very old building. The more I looked at the detail, I realized what a fine and thoughtful renovation to blend the new elements with the character and charm of an ancient building in lovely Trieste. AC and a spacious fridge with some nice treats in the room. Oversize bath towels. Great stay for a couple of days in Trieste, very near the train station.

25 or so steps to first floor. Pack light. We drove in, there is a very near car park recommended by host- it’s clean and safe but very tight even by European standards. Just be aware if you have a large auto.

Excellent location, incredible host, beautiful accommodation

Everything about our stay was great! But there was a green light in the room we stayed in that stayed on all night. Not sure if there is a way for the owner to cover this up to allow for full black out. Other than this, we very much enjoyed our stay.

Great central location and beautifully decorated room. Not the largest room but sufficient and a good bathroom en suite. Comfortable bed with aircon and TV. Staff allowed an early check in which was greatly appreciated and there is a bag store for our last day which worked well for us. Lovely friendly member of staff who was keen to help us find our way around.

Reception isn’t manned all the time so sometimes you need to call the team to respond. Took about 10 minutes trying to get someone at check in, despite having requested and had confirmed an early check in. Minor issue but worth bearing in mind.

l'emplacement est situé à distance de marche de la gare et près de la majorité des centres d'intérêt. Beaucoup de restos et de boutiques près de l'hébergement. C'est un endroit très bien insonorisé. La chambre comporte un petit réfrigérateur. Nous avons été très bien accueilli. Seul bémol, la chambre que nous avons réservé était la seule qui ne bénéficiait pas d'un accès à l'ascenseur et pour laquelle nous devions monter 27 marches pour y accéder. Toutefois, notre hôte a été très gentil et a lui-même monté nos bagages à l'étage.

From the moment I arrived at Aquila D'oro I felt relaxed, the courtyard entrance was so nicely taken care of with beautiful plants. The owner welcomed me and showed me to my room, he was very kind and even assisted with my luggage. (His name started with an "'F") Sorry I cant remember! Once in the room, I was surprised to find how beautifully the room was decorated, the photos do not do it justice. It had lovely sweet treats and a coffee machine with pods available to use. There was also milk and plenty of water in the fridge. Lots of little extras that really made my stay at Aquila D'oro super comfy and relaxing, not to mention how comfortable the bed and pillows are😊 The staff here were extremely helpful and responsive to a couple of questions I had regarding the local bus, which can be taken just a minute or so up the street. I would definitely stay here again and I'd definitely return to visit the lovely Trieste! Thanks again to the wonderful staff here and assistance from Andre when checking out😊
