Only the view from the room, nothing else.

Hiking up & down to the room with luggage is bit troublesome, so the rooms with better lake view may not be suitable for elderly folks. The bathroom had strange smells, there were black ants in the room, gap between the room door and the wall whereby there were see through hole in between. The bed was bad, as 1 of the stand broke, therefore when we sleep, the bed sinks, on 2nd day we had to move the mattress down so that we could have a better sleep. The staffs at the reception not friendly at all, no smiles or greetings. Our check-in/out both was done from the eatery place instead of the reception counter itself. Upon arrival our room was flooded due to rain & wet balacony, luckily they changed to another room to fix quickly but it was also flooded & we let them to clear it while we grab our quick dinner. I regret booking here, I booked a very basic hotel in Berastagi (Kaesa Homestay) whereby the amount I paid much lesser than Vandu's, yet I had better experience there though its a very basic room.

The view was Amazing from the room and the terrace was just perfect 👍The Staff are very helpfull with every question we had, we booked a day trip in scooter with a driver at the hôtel and it was very good expérience !

Value for money . The staff helpful . Location is very good.

Property a-bit old . And not expect with the facility . The room not have much light . Its feel dark at night.

Beautiful view! Nice swimming spot ropped of in the lake too, so there's no need for a pool. Willman rented us scooters for 3 days as well and it was great to travel around Samosir. Very accommodating and responsive.

Some of the rooms are warm and there is only a fan, so if you used to A/C it could be a little hot for you. Water pressure is very low. Rooms are not cleaned daily, so if you expect this, you might want to ask for it. We didn't mind though.
