The location is indeed good. The place has potential.

I asked specifically for a quiet room prior to coming, and was told the place was "very quiet". When I arrived, however, there was full noisy drilling construction work going on in the rooms in the yard that all the rooms face. I was suspicious at this point but got promised it would end in a few minutes. It lasted several hours. I tried to show flexibility. I wanted to find a place for the next 2 weeks, as I was exhausted, so then they promised the works and noise would be only when I would be out of the hotel during the day. Alas, nothing was as promised by the hotel manager repeatedly. There was noise all the time until sometimes 8:30 pm, it was like living in a train station with heavy construction works going on, drilling etc. Impossible to nap, very stressful noise. I complained repeatedly but was told by the owner, who is very creepy pushing to offer massages to lone traveling females (I then read on tripadvisor he had sexually assaulted at least one tourist) that I "was the problem", and I "should leave" since "nobody else complained" (people are spineless cowards sometimes alas). Some complained afterwards. I felt very unsafe and lied to with regards to my main demand before coming: QUIET. Also, the food at the "restaurant" is disgusting. I paid for a dal rice where the rice was served cold and tasteless, and the dal were 3 lentils in a yellow liquid. The internet is also very patchy. But yes, main problem: not having a customer-oriented attitude (despite kind words at the end, but too little too late, for this amount of noise, a significant discount should have been given to all guests, and profuse apologies), and the creepy aggressive sexual predator owner.

I extended my stay twice. Very much a family environment and I was welcomed with open arms. It's really close to the Ganges and ghats. The view is amazing.I became ill and the staff were very accommodating. They offered good food, bottled water available and constantly cleaning the shared spaces. Plenty of room to enjoy privacy or talk to other guests. Yoga classes are available. I will definitely return.

Nothing that I didn't like. Only one suggestion is to not try to upsell guests on outings,transportation or shopping because we know we can get better deals on our own and it just becomes awkward.

the breakfast was underevelming and super disappointing, the laundry service was three times more expensive than anywhere I have been in india for 9 months. the rom had same condition ass I usually pay less than 1000 rupee but here just under 3000..

Excellent quiet location right on the Ganges. Spacious rooms and very nice and accomadating staff.

Breakfast could be approved on. No toiletries in room.

The property has lot of mosquitoes around and the staff does nothing about it. It is not value for money at all. The rooms do not have ventilation at all. They charge you for water as well. At this price you can get a better property in Varanasi. my suggestion is to not book this property ever. I wonder why people gave 3 stars to this property.

The most notable thing about the property is the managers. Tiwari ji and Pathak ji who are managers there, helped me a lot during my stay. Tiwari ji drew a map of Kashi for me and guided me for various places. Pathak ji discussed spiritual aspects of Kashi. Both Tiwari ji and Pathak ji are highly knowledgeable about Kashi and its spiritual importance. I've deep gratitude for these two gentlemen.

Only thing that troubled me is mosquitoes.
