Cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired, as does the poor condition of the bed linen. Also , no intent to provide a receipt for payment made, despite me asking for it. Lack of properly trained staff

The view, location and access to temples is a major boon for our stay

The service was poor w.r.t breakfast, had to wait atleast 1 hr for getting a simple bread toast jam/rotis and tea. The room is not recommended for travellers visiting Varanasi for the first time. They did not give convenience to pay thru other credit card and after repeated insistence they charged 3% extra to make payment on credit.

Rooms were mostly clean. Location good, Assi Ghat within walking distance. Rooms spacious. 24/7 front desk. The driver to the airport was amazing and spoke proper English!!

At 4:30 AM (!) they start a chanting song from a speaker that you hear rather loudly in your room (we woke up both nights). Every afternoon, they light a campfire inside the courtyard and the rooms are full with smoke afterwards. All clothes smell badly! The rooms were super cold also, so we had to decide between being in a smoke room or a cold room. Breakfast included is basic tea and plain toast. Everything else needs to be paid extra. Even though we asked, they did not say until we checked out and showed us the receipt.

I like the location and the massage and the Yoga place

The last 2 days very noisy construction noises, unbelievable to do this when paying customers are in the hotel.

Upgraded my room, courteous staff, feels at home. Great view of the river

Access roads are inconvenient
