Super Gastgeber! Very clean. Very nice decorated during Christmas time. Best Breakfast in South Africa so far! Great rooms, great bed, perfect 🤩 We will come back again!

Uwe is a most charming host who is very attentive yp his guests. His personality is reminiscent of Luminére in the animated movie, Beauty and the Beast. Dapper and accommodating. We arrived at the same time as another couple and felt cared for and welcomed with equal attention. The Africa Room is beautiful and wonderfully decorated. Every comfort is catered to. My favorite moment was discovering that because we arrived days before Christmas, the house was beautifully decorated as though we were being hosted by family over the festive period. Simply stunning.

Nothing fell short of perfect at Sorgvry. You arrive and your every need is catered to... with a smile and grace.

Der Hausherr Uwe war super nett. Die Einrichtung der Lodge war einfach grandios, mit ganz viele Liebe zum Detail. Wunderschöne Weihnachtsdeko 😍 Das Frühstück war hervorragend. Eir haben uns absolut wohl gefühlt

Uwe hat alles sehr schön eingerichtet und war auch für Gespräche gut bereit.

Breakfast was good ... especially the fresh fruit salad. Was only available from 9am. Perhaps a little late for mid summer. Location absolutely perfect. Quiet accessible spot for walking from town centre/ Hotel. Located in beautiful garden.

We would have preferred a room with a door onto an outdoor area - felt a bit closed in. Would ask for one of those next time. Also found the screen between the bedroom and toilet area to be beautiful but a bit flimsy .. A door would be good!
