Belle ancienne demeure, beaucoup de cachet, antiquités un peu partout, petit déjeuner de qualité servi sous la véranda face au jardin, calme du lieu, gentillesse et conseils du maître des lieux. Mérite un 10/10 pour tout, y compris le rapport qualité-prix!

Frühstück exzellent mit zweierlei Sorten Brot, selbst von Uwe gebacken! Die Zimmer liebevoll eingerichtet, bieten allen Komfort. Der Gastgeber hat uns gute Tipps für die Gegend, die besten Restaurants und Cafés gegeben.

A most enjoyable German breakfast delightfully prepared and presented in the serene surrounds of Uwe's garden. The rooms, are detailed in particular themes. We stayed in the Asian room, which is top class ! A delightful and knowledgeable host who made us feel at home in a wonderful establishment.

Nothing could have been better. The stay met more than our expectation.

Awesome host, very friendly and helpful

Absolutely a delight! While Barrydale is a pretty place to visit Sorgvry merits being a destination in and of itself - a simply DELIGHTFUL place to stay. The house and bedrooms are gorgeous; the gardens so very beautiful; Uve is a warm and superb host; the breakfast is wonderful and the Guesthouse offers peace and beauty. Breakfast or sitting out on the stoep with all its spectacular pot plants is so very lovely. I will try to go back just to enjoy the Guesthouse!

Ein sehr liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus mit einem außergewöhnlichen Gastgeber, der als aufmerksamer Mensch viele wertvolle Tipps parat hat, das Frühstück war phantastisch, das kleine Paradies mit seinem grossartig angelegten Garten und die warmherzige Art von Uwe werden uns immer in sehr guter Erinnerung bleiben
