Margi & Phil sind Gastgeber aus Leidenschaft mit ganz viel Herz und Humor. Bei Anreise nehmen sie sich für jeden Gast Zeit und plauschen bei einem Kaltgetränk erstmal einmal entspannt auf der Veranda mit einem ganz persönlich. Sie stehen mit Rat und Tat zur Seite, geben Tipps für Ausflüge und Routen und organisieren auch Touren in den Kruger N. P. Wir wurden sogar mit einem wunderbaren Frühstückspaket ausgestattet. Wir fühlten uns gleich zu Hause und gut umsorgt. Jederzeit wieder!!!!

The hosts are very friendly and helpful if you have an early safari you can get a breakfast package etc and they take the time for you to have a little chat upon arrival.

We had a wonderful stay at Blue Jay Lodge. The room was beautiful, peaceful, and very comfortable, surrounded by lovely gardens and birdsong. What truly stood out was the owner’s kindness and professionalism — he personally helped us contact Europcar when they mistakenly gave us a non-automatic vehicle, and quickly helped arrange an exchange for the correct automatic car. His assistance saved us a lot of stress and time. We highly recommend this lodge for anyone visiting Hazyview or Kruger — great hospitality and genuine care for guests!

Hele mooie schone accommodatie. Top locatie voor het Kruger Park (15 min rijden naar Phabeni gate). Phil en Margi zijn 2 super vriendelijke en gastvrije eigenaren van de lodge. Verblijf was inclusief een heerlijk vers ontbijt en als je vroeg vertrekt (voor het Kruger Park) dan krijg je een lekker ontbijt pakketje mee. Phil en Margi voorzien je verder van de nodige tips over waar je o.a. kunt gaan eten.

The owners are really friendly and showed us everything on arrival. They even prepare breakfast when going to Kruger in the morning if you only tell them in advance. The room was really spacious and clean. Thank you very much again. We would definitely visit again

I liked everything about this property. It felt like a big hug and home away from home. Phil and Margi are the most amazing hosts. From the welcome drinks to serving breakfast and the friendly chats. I’ll definitely be back. The room felt like a honeymoon getaway. Thanks Phil and Margi

Phil and Margi were the perfect hosts. Breakfast was made to order and lovely. Phil gave us so much information and good advice when we were going into KNP which made the whole experience so much easier. Beautiful ensuite room with lots of character. Would love to stay again.
