The hospitality of the host was great. Location close to everything but just far enough to be very calm at night.

Lovely property in a great location. Easy walk to both Dickwella and Hiriketiya beaches, and lots of nice eateries around. The room is was nice, with good aircon and fan. There is also a nice living space with sofas and tables just outside the room, which was handy. The manager, Devaka, was very friendly and helpful, and made our stay very comfortable. I would recommend this place.

This is a great place to stay if you want a central location within walking distance of Hiriketiya Beach. The building is surrounded by trees, often visited by monkeys—we saw many, even right up to the upstairs seating area window! Our host, Deva, was kind and welcoming. He even surprised my girlfriend with a birthday cake.

We did have an issue with laundry—the external service returned our clothes dirty and yellowed. Deva did his best to resolve it, and while a rewash helped slightly, some whites remained stained. Unfortunately, bleach powder residue was left on the clothes, making them unwearable.

The house itself is huge and set in a really peaceful garden which is instantly relaxing. On arrival we were told the place was fully booked but because of how the rooms are set out we didn't see anyone else. Excellent location, 5 minutes walk to the beach.

Shared bathroom was fine for us but bring flip flops as can be a bit off-putting to step on the wet floor.
