location was great, the people were nice

It has recently changed hands last month and while there is nothing out right wrong with the property it didn’t live up to any of the previous reviews. The new owners and care taker were all really lovely however there was no special Sri Lanka breakfast, there wasn’t really a family onsite, it didn’t feel like a home stay, it was just us in an otherwise empty big house. beds were uncomfortable and fans very loud. we were also asked to pay extra for air conditioning as it is apparently an upgrade since we booked.

Very impressed by the owner's hospitality.Food was delicious, unlimited and freshly cooked.Good Wifi,hot and chilled water available 24x7.Very good budget stay.Just 4min walking distance to beautiful Hiriketiya beach.

Lovely spacious rooms . Short walk to beach and cafes etc

Exzellent breakfast, good location with a very friendly and helpful host. We watched the monkies play outside during breakfast. Slept well listening to the sound of nature.

Our host was incredible and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best stay during our time in Hiriketiya. The accommodation is perfectly located under a 5minute walk to the beach and lots of restaurants. Also AMAZING breakfast the best we had in Sri Lanka and kept us full until dinner time!

Just wow. Great room with separate huge seating area, no ac or water issues. Family were so friendly and we had the most amazing breakfasts in all of SL. Owner took us to get a scooter. 5 mins walk to the beach. Definitely our favourite homestay of thr trip, if ots available book it.
