Orchid Cottage

The room was spotless and comfy, had all the amenities we needed. The garden was abslutely beautiful. Betty (host) was incredibly warm, generous, accommodating, and she respected our privacy. The complimentary fruit plate in the mornings was a lovely surprise.

Truly amazing property. Our room was clean with all amenities, including air conditioning, TV, microwave, refrigerator, and good hot water in shower. Beautiful gardens-orchids everywhere. We saw hummingbirds. Delicious fresh breakfast made with local ingredients. Owner Betty went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and gave us great advice and directions. Short walk from property to a grocery store and restaurant. Cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you Betty for taking such good care of us

Betty is an amazing being, caring, we felt at home right away. The room was by the pool, spacious, comfortable, clean and well equipped. The magical gardens are a huge plus, is really special and gorgeous. Loved our stay here and that’s where I would like to be when I’m back in Kingston. I super recommend!

Betty is an incredible host. She made us feel so welcome, gave us lots of advice about our trip and was very accommodating. From surprising us with breakfast and treats, to keeping our luggage safe while we went hiking, she has been so good to us. The room was just what we needed, clean and comfortable, but the true value of the place comes from the outside - the pool, the orchids, the hummingbirds. Betty has turned her property into a true botanic garden.

The shower pressure and temperature take some getting used to, since it's a solar shower, but unless you expect scalding hot showers in tropical outside temperatures, you'll be absolutely fine.

Milá majitelka penzionu mi se vším pomohla a dostala jsem i čerstvé ovoce. V bungalovu bylo vše potřebné včetně pitné vody a kávy, zahrada s bazénem krásná.

The garden is beautiful. Lots of singing birds, orchids & fruit trees. Betty, the host, goes over and beyond to accommodate your needs. Very attentive and generous. We extended our stay and will be coming back to stay here for future vacations.
