The male receptionist was polite and kind, but unfortunately, he was not the one handling my situation today.

I couldn't sleep for two nights because of the constant noise and doors slamming in the adjacent room throughout the night (Second floor, room 303). I had planned to extend my stay, but given these conditions, it was impossible. When I politely brought this to management's attention, my distress was met with total indifference and zero apologies. Their only concern was whether I had booked via Booking.com! What I thought would be an incredible stay turned out to be one of the worst experiences I've had. In 4 months of traveling, this was my most expensive stay, yet zero customer service. To make matters worse, the lady at reception was highly cynical and arrogant during checkout. It is deeply disappointing that an organization claiming a humanitarian mission treats a solo guest with such disrespect and coldness, especially in Nepal, where the local principle of ‘Atithi Devo Bhava’ is so central!

Quiet location just a short distance from the lovely Boudhanath Stupa. Very pretty courtyard, overall sense of peace and calm. Rooms are spacious, ensuite good, beds comfy and the staff are all fabulous.

Breakfast was good for both quality and quantity

Security issues in area between hotel and Boudha stupa. My cell phone was snatched/stolen out of my backpack as I walked down street in daylight hours. There seems to be more beggars and street hawkers in the area near hotel due to proximity to important religious site and tourist attraction.

Hele fijne plek. Het guesthouse ligt heel rustig met een mooie tuin. Het ziet er netjes verzorgd uit. Je ben zo bij de Bodnath.

Het contact met het personeel voelde wat minder warm dan wat we gewend waren in andere guesthouses. De kamer werd tussendoor niet schoongemaakt.

This is a fabulous guesthouse. The staff, location, rooms, breakfast- everything is fantastic.
