ROKPA Guest House

The garden and cafe is beautiful, as is Akong Rinpoches Room, amazing, wonderful

The problem for the Guest House is that the Sechen Monastery next door burns their rubbish about 15 meters away from the accomodation. So from 7 am to 7pm smoldering smoke seeped into my room, even with the windows closed. This appears to be an on going issue for the guest house, as others have complained. Personally considering the price I thought the smell was unacceptable, and the management should seriously approach Rinpoche next door to resolve the matter. Other than that, it's a wonderful experience. But check your not on the bonfire side before booking.

Un endroit non seulement beau avec un personnel fantastique, mais aussi un lieu emprunt de spiritualité ancrée dans un projet humanitaire et culturel, soutenant des enfants en difficulté et veillant à la formation des femmes. A deux pas de la bouleversante grande Stuppa. Un lieu comme une bénédiction

Die Krähen…… aber da kann die Unterkunft nichts dafür und auch nichts dagegen tun. Sie machen halt Krach, auch nachts ab 3 Uhr

Schönes Hotel mit wunderbarem Garten, gutem Essen und sehr netten Mirarbeitern. Supernah zur Stupa, trotzdem sehr ruhig.
