The location was great. Ingrid, one of the owners, was fun and pleasant and spent time with us, showing us the property and giving us some history of the cottage we were staying in as well as other facilities on her land. The cottage was cozy and comfortable. It had everything we needed.

We have no complaints about the cottage We stayed in.

"Unique location for short term stay to visit Big Bend NP."

Location is south of main district in residential area. First impressions were apprehensive, once Ingrid showed us the Stone House on the inside we became more comfortable. Is a very unique development of standalone units. Location is very quiet. Unit was very comfortable. Good location to view the night sky if that is of interest.

Wifi was via satellite and had trouble making permanent connection. Gave up after several tries. There is no TV, but for our short stay it didn't matter.

This is a great place to stay to get to Big Bend NP. It is small town (great night sky) but has a couple restaurants, gas stations and a grocery store. The Panther junction visitor center is about a 1 hr 10 min drive away. The place is super quiet, clean and well maintained with all amenities that you need in a cabin. The best part was the host, Ingrid. She was super helpful, responsive and was just an amazing host. Highly recommend this place if you are visiting Big Bend NP.
