Filoxenia Rooms

It is not a luxurious place but it was cheap and convenient for what we needed. The old couple that lives there don't speak English so it's a bit tricky to understand each other with Google translate. The mattress was comfy, it has an ensuite and the drive to the beach is quite short. Also, it's very close to the tavern on the hill opposite the accommodation where there's no menu and they surprise you with food, also cheapest place to eat around there.

You can tell it hasn't been updated in years and it's not the cleanest place but if you're not looking for luxury, then this place is perfect for bare minimum, a place to sleep and where to leave your luggage.

To close by the road - all the vehicules run through my room.

The location was good, really close to the beach.

The communication with the host was non existent as they didn't speak any other language than greek. The rooms were really hot, they had an air conditioning but one room did't have a remote the other remote for the other room was collected by the host as he didn't want us turning it on during the day. One of the rooms had ants and the toilet was leaking water. On top of that we spent 2 days without water and electricity as the island electrical supply was shut down.

The owners were exceptional, the place was very beautiful.i prefer that side of the island to stay, is rather far (15mins) than the most touristic places but is better.

Calm ambience, family friendly, cozy terrace for a good breakfast.

Little communication problems caused by the hosts german language skills.
