A beautifully located guesthouse with friendly, thoughtful and attentive staff. The food was good - Morrocan with a modern twist, the view is fantastic the nearby village is located in spectacular mountain area surrounded by great places to explore.

This property is amazing! The rooms are very nicely decorated and quite spacious, and we had a private terrace that looked right out onto the valley. The dining/common area is lovely and warm, with floor-to-ceiling windows that give a great view of the mountains. Upon arrival, the staff gave us tea and fruit, and made us a lovely breakfast every day. Dinner is prepared fresh and you can place your order ahead of time so that it is ready when you sit down. The staff were also kind enough to offer us tea while we waited for our taxi to collect us on the last day

Das Guesthouse Dar Zohra ist einfach ein Traum. Es ist mit Liebe fürs Details entworfen und eingerichtet worden. Die Zimmer sind sauber, gemütlich und mit einem großartigen Ausblick. Wir haben selten so gut geschlafen. Auch Personal und Essen sind top. Nicht nur das Frühstück war umfangreich, auch das Abendessen war sehr schmackhaft und hat uns gut gefallen. Unser Sohn hat es außerdem geliebt das große Gebäude mit seinem Gelände zu erkunden. Nächstes Mal kommen wir im Frühling wieder, um auch die Terrasse nutzen zu können.

Das Einzige, worauf man sich einstellen muss, ist, dass es in den Wintermonaten (wir waren Ende Dezember dort) etwas kühl in den Zimmern sein kann. Es gibt eine Heizung, aber die schafft es kaum gegen die kalten Wände anzukommen. Wir fanden das am Ende nicht schlimm, denn es gab ausreichend Decken und es war irgendwie auch sehr gemütlich. Außerdem ist es ja typisch für marokkanische Unterkünfte, die häufig nicht besonders gut isoliert bzw. beheizt sind. Das Problem sollte sich außerhalb der 2-3 kalten Monate aber nicht zeigen.

Everything. The location was spot on, the staff were faultless and friendly, the food was great and the facilities were everything we needed for five days of cycling in the Ourika Valley.

Nothing. I’m not a cat person, and I even liked the cats.
