Nice swimming pool, helpful staff and delicious local breakfast.

Great location with a swimming pool close to the park entrance. Very nice and helpful staff. Very clean with big confy bedrooms. The breakfast is great.

Die Familie war unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Betten groß und gemütlich und der Pool bei der Wärme sehr angenehm. Die Safari, die wir mit dem Mann der Pension gemacht haben, war fantastisch. Und wir konnten uns sogar Räder leihen. Um ein bisschen die Gegend zu erkunden - dabei haben wir bereits einen Elefant getroffen. Das hausgemachte Essen war sehr lecker. Die Inhaber haben uns dann sogar noch nach Ella gebracht und mit uns einen Stop beim Arzt gemacht, da meine Tochter Ohrenschmerzen hatte. Vielen Dank!!

Chambre d’hôtel sommaire, peu d’équipement (ancien, paroi de douche cassée), manque d’endroit pour se détendre (canapé, transat ou autre). L’hôtel propose l’excursion a Udawalawe Park ce qui est pratique; mais sentiment que l’ambiance est très business.

Le safari organisé par l'hôte était parfait. La piscine était propre et grande, donc très apprécié par nos enfants. Puisque l'hébergement est un peu loin de tout, nous avons mangé là quelques fois et les repas étaient copieux. L'hébergement, par contre, est directement de l'autre côté de la route du Parc et nous avons vu un éléphant faire sa douche depuis le balcon de l'auberge!

Clean room, comfortable beds, air conditioning, and a spotless bathroom. There’s also a lovely pool where you can relax while black-faced monkeys play in the trees—unwinding there after a safari is truly priceless. They organized our safari in the national park. The husband drove the jeep and was excellent at spotting animals, sharing interesting information, and always positioning the vehicle perfectly for viewing. We chose the 4-hour tour, which felt more than enough given the road conditions and the size of the park, though they also offer 7- and 12-hour options. Two small downsides: the owners were a bit pushy about safari duration and meals, and while the food (we had one lunch and one dinner) was delicious, it was slightly repetitive. The location is perfect for safaris—we even saw an elephant right in front of the hotel in the afternoon—but it’s quite far from the city, with only a few restaurants nearby.

Kind lady prepared amazing lunch, dinner and next day breakfast as well. Also helped with transfers and safari was awesome experience. Room was with ac working well, nice and clean
