Peacock Villa Resort

We really enjoyed our stay at the Peacock Villa. The room, the food and other facilities like the pool were great. We also did the safari with the owners of the villa. We did 12 hours of the safari and we saw many different animals, and you can also book breakfast and lunch at the safari, which was a big plus!:) Overall really enjoyed our stay!

Very welcoming owner, his wife and kids. Diner was exceptional delicious! For a night before Safari a very good choice!

Die Familie, die diese Unterkunft betreibt, ist unglaublich freundlich und kümmert sich wirklich um alles. Man sollte sich auf keinen Fall das selbstgekochte, sehr leckere und reichhaltige Dinner entgehen lassen. Wir geben hier zehn Punkte, weil wir darum gebeten wurden, da es aufgrund einer schlechten, falschen Bewertung zu einem so schlechten Durchschnitt kommt, dass seltener gebucht wird. Die Ausstattung ist einfach, was bei dem sehr günstigen Preis aber auch nicht anders zu erwarten ist.

When we arrived at the accommodation, we were warmly welcomed with a drink, and the owners kindly made us lunch on short notice before our safari. We felt very comfortable at that point.

Like everyone on these reviews we were transported both ways, did a couple of great safaris, enjoyed the sensational food and admired the elephants wandering by from the comfy verandah. All the prices are very reasonable and the room is very clean. It is people like this family that make Sri Lanka such a joy to travel in.

Se cercate un posto dove stare ad Udawalawe per un buon safari e immersi nella foresta, a contatto con la natura, potete smettere di cercare, l’avete trovato.

The location is perfect for the safari. Nalaka organised it all for us and took it out and it was a great time. All the food was home cooked for us and was absolutely delicious. Everyone was really nice and generous to us. There's a lovely balcony to spend your evening on and spot some wildlife.

Family-ran business. Safari was really good. Food was good, ready as soon as you arrive from the safari. Hosts are lovely. Location is great.

Toilet is a bit smelly but otherwise clean.
