Loud noisy motorcycle taxi driver. The facility couldn't do anything about them

We wanted to go to the Ijen crater and the location was excellent. we loved the nature in which the property was, the friendliness of the staff, the choice we had for breakfast, lunch and dinner and the quality of the dishes.

The perfect serene location. Happy, friendly, helpful and wonderful food.

Beautiful guest house in the middle of the jungle with beautiful bungalows and surrounding lands. We loved the hospitality of our hosts Ericka and Marc and all their staff. The food cooked by Rico was amazing. We ate there every night. In the surrounding area, we also enjoyed the walk through the villages and rice fields. Thank you very much for the warm welcome and amazing stay.

It’s in a quite remote location, so be aware you need transportation to go places. This was fine for us because we wanted this. It‘s by the main road of the village, so it is during the day a bit noicy from the traffic. During the rainy session, it‘s very humid but that’s ok - that’s part of staying in the jungle

We stayed here for one night to visit the Ijen volcano early in the morning. Everything was perfect: just amazing hosts , clean and nice decorated room, delicious breakfast, beautiful area. Our only regret is that we didn’t have enough time to spend there. Thank you very much.

The property has stunning grounds and garden, Balinese style, with many hidden corners and pavilions where you can relax. A small babbling brook borders the property so you have the relaxing sound of water all around. Thre is a also a pool which we didn't even try as we were so enchanted with the garden. The bungalow we had was richly decorated with gorgeous balinese textile curtains. What made this place truly special for us is the welcome and service Marc and Ericka (owners) gave us : they not only organized a Mt Ijen excursion for us but a fantastic massage by Aini. In the restaurant, son Ricco is a talented cook and the food was excellen... Best breakfast pancakes on and out of Bali!

Wow. Everything was truly magical. The name is correct— it IS a gem!!! The moment we arrived Erika warmly greeted us with a fresh dragon fruit juice. The room is SO luxurious, the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in, ever. The gardens are lush, the river is clean and the area is so spiritual and relaxing. We spent so much time at the pool swimming, reading, meditating. The owners are so lovely. Marc taught us many things about Java and about life. We appreciated his conversations. Happy to call them friends. Special shout out to young Rico!!! The chef of the house!! Amazing home cooked meals, the best we’ve had in our trip through Indonesia. Thank you Rico you smashed it and you have a great future ahead.

Totally zen. You don’t notice other guests. The best massage ever!!!

Don’t expect to go out for a nice dinner. Best option is to eat at Mi Casa. Small and simple menu. But good and cheap.
