"Very poor"

Beutiful complex indulged in nature with special care for every detail.

The most uncomfortable accommodation we ever stayed in while in Indonesia. Our entire suite (we can't speak for other units) was so humid and damp that all our clothes and hair became wet, and we couldn't sleep due to the intense moisture. The bathtub stopper was broken, and they obviously knew that but made no effort to fix it. We booked a two-night stay at this very expensive accommodation by Indonesian standards, with the idea of having a proper rest, but we ended up leaving the next day and finding alternative accommodation to get proper rest. There was zero reaction from the owners when we told them why we were leaving... maybe if we had booked an excursion through them, they would have given us more attention. Also, there was significant traffic noise from the nearby road, and there was no option to darken the room during the day, which would be helpful if you needed proper sleep after the early Ijen hike.

Marc and Ericka could not have been more welcoming, they were fabulous. They replied promptly to questions and helped arrange everything with our Ijen trip, including health certificates. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was really tasty and great quality. Outdoor environment is beautiful. Beds were super comfy and lovely finishes to the rooms. It is all honestly comparable to a hotel-except with the added bonus of amazing hosts!

That we couldn't stay longer!

"A little bit of paradise!"

This place is the real deal - our beautiful bungalow was gorgeously designed, lovely cotten linens on the comfy bed and muslin drapes to ensure a good night’s sleep. A big pool! The restaurant’s food is also excellent.

The location near Ijen was great for our purpose. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool is very nice . the grounds and the general ambience was very relaxing. Food was good..
