The location is very quiet and very close to the beach. There are two beautiful temples nearby too. The garden is very beautiful. Perfect place for peace and quiet

There's not many shops around and it's a bit far from the centre. But that is to be expected. The plug for electricity is not placed in a favourable spot. But all in all everything was good! Would like to see them clean the porch and it would be nice to have soap

Naaval Beach Villa and rooms. Owner/Manager ( Suresh) is a lovely guy, room was very clean and had a nice comfy bed and good towels supplied. Great shower and a clean bathroom where everything worked! We had room number 3. Powerful fan and a mosquito net over the bed but we didn’t need the net, no mosquitoes at the end of July when we are here. The property is shady and green with established trees and plants. Mornings are especially nice sitting on the private little balcony outside your room. There’s an excellent beach right next to the property. You can help the fishermen bring in their boats at sunrise or just watch them do all the hard work. Swimming in the morning and in the evenings was great. It’s a 500rupee ( we didn’t haggle) tuk tuk from the big bridge where the bus can drop you off if coming by bus from Aragam bay. There’s a supermarket and a couple of awesome indian restaurants there to near the bridge too. If you arrive in the heat of the afternoon consider walking over to the beach, having a quick dip and hanging out in the shade of the fisherman’s hut or other shade on the beach. With a little breeze it would be lovely. Suresh also pointed us to a local restaurant 10 minutes walk from the hotel ( Lagoon hut ) right on the water where we had dinner. Cheap and super tasty fresh fish. All in all a great stay and highly recommended for the price. Suresh doesn’t normally do breakfast but when we asked he made us some toasted egg sandwiches and black tea which hit the spot. It cost us 700 in a tuk tuk to the train station to head up to Polonnaruwa. What a lovely place. We wish you good luck for your future Suresh

Sri Lanka is hot in the afternoons all around the coast but that has nothing to do with this property.

Beautiful garden clearly made with a lot of love and care, idyllic location near the beach while still quite close to town centre. Really relaxing lovely place! The room was really lovely and comfortable. Also I forgot something in the room and the owner was super lovely about it and very motivated in looking for it and giving it back to me.

The garden is beautiful and lovely with a lot of places to sit and hang and escape the heat. One minute walking distance to the beach. The owner is so sweet and helpful and even provided a very cheap breakfast even though it wasn’t originally a possibility. The location is a bit away from the bustling city, giving a much more tranquil experience. There are a few restaurants a kilometer away and the possibility for (cheap) take-away.

The owner - he is a gem. The resort itself looks like it came straight out of a 5 star hotel with lush greenery and aesthetic decorations all over. The rooms were really comfy and the cleanliness was top notch, everything was on point, you can ask the owner (suresh) for literally anything like water for drinking, tea bags, hot water, anything and itll be at your fingertips in seconds, and for literally every question we ask him- his response was really sweet and good to hear, you can make really good friends with him if you visit his place and he will make you feel as if you are at home. He has a cute little dog and since we were a bit afraid of dogs he even caged the dog so that we can have a comfortable stay.
