Serene Niche

Good location, short walk into the main areas, some nice places to eat nearby - went into Garlic restaurant a few times and had some absolutely fabulous breakfasts in Coco Gate just a little bit further on! The units are situated in a little row together with a table and chairs and a washing line just outside. Nice friendly place and typical traveller haunt. Good value for money. The kitchen was in good use while we were there and guests made some great meals for themselves.

Rooms were ok and were what we expected, bedding was clean. Stray dogs are a abundant here, as they are in a lot of places in Sri Lanka. It seems the norm to just dump rubbish at the back of beaches, in green spaces and in any empty plots on the streets. The authorities need to get their act together, as this is a beautiful island and waste bins are none existent! But.... I would still recommend a visit!

The host was lovely, it was really good value for money and we had a great time

our stay was easy and fun! owner was a very nice person, also there are a lot of monkeys nearby!;) location is very convenient and my overall impressions were good.

the mosquito net had holes in it- many mosquito bites per night

Loved everything here. Really recommend if staying in Mirissa. Quiet area but really close to everything. Super nice staff! Best place we’ve stayed at in Sri Lanka for the price.
