Sigiriya Nature View home Stay

The room and the garden are beautifully, and the location is perfectly close to the Lion rock! Lila and her family are extremely welcoming and warm people who made us feel right at home from the start. Lila also cooks amazing breakfasts and dinners. I would really recommend staying here! You can also book a scooter if you want to go around. Incredible value for money all around, thank you for a great time Lila!

Very nice room, very friendly host and good breakfast. Very kind, they offer us tuktuk transport and laundry for a good price.

Agressive dogs in the neighborhood in the way, better go with tuktuk.

Cute homestay in Sigiriya, quite cheap and a lovely family that cooked amazing dinner for us (one of the best dinners we had in Sri Lanka)!

But there were a few things we didn’t like: - when we arrived they said we didn’t have an A/C booking (which we had and showed them!) so we had to pay extra for turning on the A/C - in between there was no Wifi and no water - when we told them, they turned it on again - the dinner and the scooter they organized for us was much more expensive then during the rest of our whole Sri Lanka trip - they don’t speak any English and it was super difficult to communicate - they couldn’t help us with any questions - when we paid the last day, they didn’t have change. So we had to drive to two different places to change the money and then got back less than we should

Amazing family who really makes you feel welcome at their cute, green homestay. It's a nice room with a big bathroom. They have a cute little dog and you can rent a scooter if you like. The family can help you to plan trips and are really helpful. Also the food the owner makes with help of her daughter is the best we have had in Sri Lanka so far!. We loved our stay!

It was honestly one of the best stays in Sri Lanka. The most amazing host family, most amazing food and home. I could not recommend this enough! The house is so filled with love and Lila is so kind and such an amazing cook. Her son and daughter are the sweetest and I loved played with them! And the dad even woke up at 5am just to take us to sigiriya rock, so Kind! Besides that the room is also great, very clean, had a fan and a mosquito net so we didn't get bitten We loved waking up in the middle of nature with all the birds and green surrounding us The location is also great, 10min walk to the main road/center!

Peaceful and quiet. AC was good and very very clean ! Owner has a tuktuk so it’s useful (you have to let him know when you need it ahead of time) Family is very nice :) We had a few night meals at their place and we really like the dinner. They also had a mosquito net They only had 1 room, so very private.

Honestly for this price, I don’t think we can say anything for this place ! but here are a few details : -Room is a bit small and no lights, unless you want to open the wood window and let the mosquitos in. -Family knows very few English words, so you will need google translation often. But they try hard :) -Wifi was blocking Facebook and Instagram, which is the main app we get in touch with our family. -General info about Sigiriya : Pick me App doesn’t work here and you cannot walk when the sunlight is out, as there are many wild elephants in the area. -That being said, take into count that the place is 15 minutes walk in the forest from the main road. So you will have to either walk or plan the tuktuk if you need to go to main road (300 rupees)

Such a beautiful home with an amazing family that went out of their way to make our stay perfect. The food was also incredible! Highlight of our trip so far. They even contacted me on WhatsApp to let me know I had left my wallet there.

Very friendly family. Good breakfast and tasty dinner (although vegetarian). House located far from roads so it is calm and peaceful there. Fresh air and nature around, very nice for walking.

Near to Lion’s Rock in a perfect environment. we spent 4 nights here and I was our favorite place in Sri Lanka. The family is lovely and make traditional food of Sri Lanka with firewood. The room has everything you want : clean, A/C, bed comfy and little terrace where you can eat peacefully. Never forget this family with big and good heart ! Also the daughter, we wish you all the best for your life you are a very nice !
