Stonefield House

The room was very spacious and immaculately presented, leading to a very comfortable stay. Breakfast each morning was a treat, there was great variety and the cooked breakfast was exceptional. The house is in a fantastic location, being only a short walk into town, and Portree being a central location for access to the whole island. Finally our host was wonderful, always a kind greeting and chat at breakfast, and always ready to help with any local information or recommendations we needed. This is the easiest recommendation to anyone visiting the Isle of Skye.

Large room, comfortable beds, good bathroom, good breakfast offered in very nice dining area. Complementary single malt! Very friendly, helpful hostess. Walkable into Portree town centre

Everything was good. Initial impression on driving up to the house was less impressive than the house itself (partly due to some ongoing works on the adjoining building)

Kirsten gave us a warm welcome. She went out of her way to be helpful, even carrying our bags to our room. She gave us helpful tips that made our visit to Skye wonderful! Highly recommend!

Our host, Kirsteen, was warm and kind, like staying with a friend or relative. She went "beyond the call" to help us. Great breakfast. Complimentary dram of Talisker whisky in the evening. Highly recommended.

The host was very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. The room was great. Breakfast was fantastic. I’ll be staying here again!
