family is very helpful. Room is clean and tidy. They picked me up from the airport & gave me a tour of Kashmir. John drives you around the Kashmir and explain about the culture. Ali also plan hiking in Kashmir and leh.

I've just had an amazing stay with Ali and his family at Johns homestay in the beautiful town of Srinagar. I couldn't recommended this place enough! Right away I was warmly welcomed by Ali and we got stuck into a great yarn over chai. There was no dramas about me being slightly early for check in and Ali kindly helped me with all and every question I had, including making some small repairs to my motorbike! The whole family is lovely, the rooms are super clean, the bathrooms are new and luxurious considering the price, beds are extremely comfortable, well ventilated plenty of fans and plenty of space. You cannot go wrong with this place. Not only do you have a great place to sleep but you can learn so much about the culture and the people of the area through talking with the family and Ali and observing how they live. Ali's knowledge of the kashmir/laddakh area is vast so he will give you the best advice to see this amazing part of the world. Thank you kindly to the whole family for having me to stay, it has been my most memorable and special hostel stay in all my travels 😊🙏

Peaceful and nice place. Room & washroom is very clean.Wi-Fi is super good. They also have bike rentals to go around the city
