The manager was so nice and helpful. Really wonderful person to have as staff. And we had abonus fridge in the room which was great.

The place is really run down and in need of some TLC and maintenance. Lots of rust everywhere. Sinks not working. Holes in the mosquito nets. There was even a mouse getting into our room at night.

But little rock pools you can swim safe for kids Plenty local restaurants I'd highly recommend Hipster Restaurant next to the food store supermarket The best mango and prawn curry I've tasted in Sri lanka If you want to take a tuk tuk ride intoTangalle to Franjapani you can use their swimming pool on the beach as long as you huy some food pool/ beach free to use reasonably priced great staff Great breakfast

Only a small negative..the towels were difficult to dry yourself after a shower seemed more synthetic than cotton I was quicker drying outside on the balcony than trying to dry with the towel Only a tiny negative other wise 9/10

Simple but has everything one needs

Great location - really peaceful and a nice break if you’ve been at a busier beach area like Mirissa. Friendly staff - the guy on reception was always available, very relaxed and helpful, showed us the shortcut to the beach and helped us get a Tuktuk to the main road on our last morning. Lovely nature - birds, friendly dogs, lizards…keep your eyes open when you relax on the balcony! Choice of food - plenty of peaceful restaurants and even a little shop or two nearby to save you going into Tangalle every day. Plus listen out for the bakery van going by!

WiFi was hit and miss (mostly miss!) so not ideal if you are planning on doing any work etc. Towels left lots of fluff on your body but we had our own to use instead so no problem.

Clean cabins a short walk from the beach. Great place to rest if you are on a beach holiday. It was my transit stop and they were really helpful with logistics, arranging for a pick up from Beliatta and advising on buses for my onward journey.

We loved Tangalle, and this was a great place to stay in the area. We loved the natural setting and the layout of the grounds. The units were separated by a decent amount of space so you weren't disturbed by your neighbours. The room (and the whole area) was clean and quiet, and everything worked well. We appreciated having the small fridge and the AC. We saw peacocks and other wildlife on the grounds while we were there. They have a separate, traditional hut with a bar and seating area. This is where the wi-fi router is, so it has the best reception (we still had service in our room, but lower bars). There is a basic menu with affordable options for breakfast and dinner, so you don't have to worry about going in to town if you don't want to. Everything was cooked to perfection, and it was very affordable. They also have bottled water available for purchase if you need it. The hosts worked hard keeping everything clean and well maintained and they were super friendly and helpful. When we arrived, we asked them to rearrange the furniture (as we weren't a couple), which they gladly did - even though we were late arriving. It was a short walk to the beach area and the surrounding area seemed safe for walking around - even at night. If you'd rather take a tuk, the hosts are able to arrange for that option, too. The hosts also gave us excellent advice on where to watch the turtles and we were able to see more than one turtle lay their eggs on the night we went out. It was a truly magical experience. (Bring your RED light if you want to do this. No flash photography or regular flashlights as this will disturb the turtles while they are laying. Also, please be respectful. The turtles don't want you watching and taking photos of them close up while they are laying their eggs any more than you'd want them in the delivery room with you!) It was a very enjoyable, and relaxing stay. We will definitely be staying here again!

A beautiful and peaceful place. Great location. Close to the beach. Good value for money. The room is very clean, comfortable highly recommended.
