It s a beatifull place. Good for natur and bird lovers. The owner is such a warm hearted an helpfull person. Also the food was always realy tasty. .

The homestay was absolutely beautiful with an amazing view of fields and nature with tons of animals and birds. The room was very nice with mosquito nets and air conditioning available. Honestly one of the prettiest places we’ve stayed. But that wasn’t the best part. The best thing about Three Little Birds was its owner Indhika. He was absolutely wonderful and went above and beyond to make our stay special and show us around. He took us out kayaking, he took us to a local beautiful temple, he gave us loads of incredible meals. The best host we’ve ever had!

I don’t even know where to begin. We read al the reviews and everything was so positive. We told ourself: “we will see.” The reviews did not lie. Indika is an amazing person, who services you to every demand. He always makes sure you have everything you need. You can see he really loves meeting new people. Breakfast and dinner was good. The location was nice. Not in a busy area and surounded with birds and a nice view over the wetlands. The room is basic, but it fits the price. Indika built everything himself, which we found very impressie. What you see on the pictures is what you get + an amazing host. We were sad to leave. This was one of the best homestays we stayed at.

We had a wonderful stay in 3 little birds guest house. Everything was really nice. The place is so peaceful, surrounded by nature with a lot of animals (buffalos, many birds...) Indika, the owner is super friendly and helped us with everything we needed. + The food was super tasty and cheap :)

Clean accommodation, quiet area, helpful host. The owner, Indika, is very kind and helpful. He will go out of his way to organise things for you and make you feel relaxed. He is a very honest and kind man who tries to run his business with the guests as his top priority. I went for a kayak trip in the lagoon with him and that was really beautiful and peaceful, I definitely recommend it! There is a beautiful beach 20min walk from his place.

A little bit remote, if you don't hire a scooter. If you want to go to the shops or restaurants, you need to rely on the local bus or a tuk tuk.

The location surrounded by Nature and so peaceful. But the best part was Indi who couldn't do enough for me and made me very welcome along with his wife who cooked me some lovely food for breakfast lunch and dinner I will be back.

Amazing stay near Tangalle, the host Indhika is one of the friendliest, most helpful and hard-working people we have met and definitely our highlight in Sri Lanka. We recommend this place to everyone, the property is in the middle of nature, with spacious rooms, nice facilities and beautiful views of fields and a little delta. At sunrise and sunset you can admire the birds and buffaloes from the hammocks or the comfy chairs. When you check in, you'll be welcomed with delicious black tea. Breakfast and dinner can be served for a small extra fee, they are incredibly delicious, so we recommend you eat there. If you're looking for a peaceful place in a serene location and an authentic Sri Lankan experience, make sure you check this place!!!
