Three Little Birds

The host Indigo is such a lovely and helpful guy. He was always smiley and made our stay much more heartwarming. He even helped us with renting a motorcycle and gave us many helpful tips. We felt very welcomed and can recommend everyone to go to this little paradise!

Wonderfull host, wonderfull view, activities with host, so quiet. I don't have a single negative thing about our 3 night stay. Just amazing!! Hope to come back one day.

The owner of this house is a wonderful man with a big heart. Being here you don't feel like you're in another ordinary hotel. You feel like you're at home. Indhika takes care of you, is friendly and always willing to help. This place is his dream come true and for us it has become part of a wonderful story that we will never forget and the realization of our dream of Sri Lanka. If you are looking for a place that you will be able to remember after years with a smile on your face, this is the place. As for the food, it is delicious and the rooms are very cozy and clean. You can watch wild birds all day and in the evenings listen to the soothing sounds of cicadas swinging in a hammock. We will definitely come back here someday.

The host will make it all worth it! The room is very spacious and comfortable. Indihka thought in every detail when he build the place. If you’re looking for an authentic home stay with an incredible host while in Tangalle, this is the place. The food (dinner and breakfast) was amazing, we did a nice walk through the swamp in front of the house and was an unique experience

Cozy room with private bathroom, hammock, veranda with lovely jungle view. Great place for silence, meditation and relaxation. Hospitable and friendly host Indhika helps with everything you need. Treated us with coffee and mango tea for breakfast and dinner. You can ask him for tuk-tuk ride or kayak swim. A lot of birds and animals nearby. Food shop and bus stop is in 10-15 min walk. In some time the new private cottage will be ready. Hope to return as soon as possible and stay in it.

I was planning to discover Tangalle for 2 days and ended up staying a whole week, mostly because of this place. Indhika is such a nice man, genuinely welcoming and interesting, the food was delicious all the way and the whole place is just super peaceful! I felt like home here, thank you again 🙂

A nice cheap peaceful place, surrounded by nature, good room with a lovely balcony. Food was good I had dinner every night there. If you want peace and quiet, then this is the place, 20min walk to a stunning beach

Indhika did everything to make us feel so comfortable at his place in Tangalle. I loved being located in nature (almost better than any safari), having our own little house with hammock. We had many great conversations, heaps of black tea and got to know a lot about Sri Lankan life. Resuming I can't list all the pros of Three Little Birds. You won't regret coming here. ☺️

Lovely place and amazing staff. Felt welcome since the first minute. Perfect stay at a cheap price.

Many things to remember from this place. First of all is the owner who made my stay memorable. A very nice person with whom I much enjoyed having conversations. The location is perfect: nature all around, a river and a little jungle to enjoy the nature and calmness; only 5 minutes away from the city center. The room was nice and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. This place deserves a gold medal.
