Everything seemed to be too much trouble for the host. He wasn’t rude but you could tell that he was kind of annoyed with you being there, that’s how he made us feel. He was nice to the other group as they’d spend money on dinner etc while we had ours from the market. We didn’t feel welcomed.

Such a beautiful place to stay on the Mae Son Loop, beautiful village with palm trees and rice fields close by. The food is absolutely incredible, they put on a feast for us for dinner and breakfast. They even offer spa treatments. The rooms are lovely, they have everything you need and you can tell the host has thought about everything, he even recommended many places to visit. I would definitely recommend 😊

This lovely little home stay is so calm, tranquil and we found the accommodation very comfortable. The hosts are friendly and had lots of local knowledge to offer us about good locations to visit nearby. The room itself was very comfortable and I was pleasantly surprised that there was very few mosquitos inside the room.

Not a negative - but just there is quite limited options for food / shops around. This was good for us as we like to be rural.

There aren’t many hotels in this area, and we were worried we might be disappointed, so we chose this place since it’s the most expensive one around. We expected a nice and clean hotel, but the room was very small and felt cramped. It wasn’t clean at all, and we didn’t feel comfortable using the bathroom or shower. The water pressure in the shower was very weak, which made it unpleasant to use. We also found two geckos in the room, which made it uncomfortable to stay there and even sleep. The spa prices were extremely high, and the food was also quite expensive, though we ate there since there weren’t many other options in town. Overall, we didn’t enjoy our stay and wouldn’t recommend this place, especially after a long travel day on the loop when all you want is to rest. We ended up leaving early in the morning because we didn’t feel comfortable in the room.

Un très bel accueil au coeur d'un village authentique des rizières. Manat, l'hôte et propriétaire des lieux, a été aux petits soins à chaque instant. Sa cuisine est excellente. La présentation des mets est très raffinée... L'hôte a beaucoup de goût et nous avons déjeuné dans un très joli jardin, soigné. Sur place un spa avec un menu de massages complet, j'ai testé Thai herbal steamed massage associé à un massage aux huiles essentielles, je recommande. Manat nous a accompagné dans les rizières, il y a une petite randonnée en face de chez lui, à faire au coucher du soleil. Nous avons beaucoup appris sur la vie de son village. Très intéressée par le textile, j'ai pu visiter avec son aide deux très beaux ateliers de tissage situés à quelques minutes de chez lui. Très bons souvenirs de Mae Chaem...
