The location is superb and Manut is a very friendly guest. Would come here definetly again!

The breakfast was fine. The owner is friendly. Will be nice if there are a few western food options for breakfast.

Dinner was late by an hour. There are only outdoor seatings. It rained and we got splashed. Should have extra fans near seatings, so customer does not have to take the fan from the bedroom.

The authenticity of the lovely apartments amidst a genuine rural village. Just lovely!

Our 16/17 year old kids had difficulties adapting to it all. I found the completely flooded bathroom very unhandy and the wastebasket being the home of an ants nest a little nuisance.

The staff were lovely. I had some spa treatments, and my gal was very kind. We absolutely loved our breakfast and had more than enough food to start our day! The rice and pork soup was so delicious! I also really enjoyed the company of the cat, and watching.the birds, cows, chickens and local villagers in the morning while having coffee. We also arrived during the weaving festival, so we got to seethe market and some local music. We also were given a wealth of information on the area and what to see and do!

The room was small, and I didn't care for the shower. Though unique, there wasn't a lot of water pressure to wash with. I also don't like sleeping up against a wall which was necessary with our room design. And, I'm not the greatest with being sure footed in the middle of the night, and both the steps into our cottage and the steps into the bathing area were round log stumps, so I was on ultra alert to not fall. It's also a ways out of town, so a vehicle is a necessity.

Manut, was excellent. Very welcoming, couldn't do enough to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Great cook, the breakfasts and dinners were incredibly delicious. Served so beautifully. He organised all our tours and very enthusiastically shared the local culture with us. We learned so much about the region and Thailand as a whole from him. A totally immersive Thai experience. And to top it all, the spa and massage service was excellent. Thank you so much Manut. If travelling to Chiang Mai to see the mountains and temples, don't bother with staying in the city, head to Manut's, you will love it.

Really struggling to think about what we didn't like!

My stay was short, but pleasant. The room was quite small and dark, but otherwise quiet and comfortable. Nice food, I liked the way every dish was decorated with flowers. The owner was lovely, he took me to the local craftswoman skilled in fabric weaving.

Dimmable lighting in the room was flickering, so I didn't use it.
