Clean room

A bit complicated for check in - no one was there and when I knocked a girl quite dryly said check in was at 11am (though I had written to do early check in) and disappeared leaving me alone. All good apart from that

Todo me gustó. Limpio, propietario amable, sitio acogedor, ubicación perfecta y buen precio. Hicimos yoga por la mañana con el anfitrión y fue muy guay!

Mr. Sonu è gentilissimo e utilissimo per info dettagliate e aggiornate su tutto quello che succede a Varanasi. È una città molto caotica e se visitata nel periodo dei monsoni è importante sapere cosa si può vedere, quali cerimonie, ecc. É molto frequentato da italiani! Camera molto pulita ed in generale ti senti a casa e tranquillo. Non c'era l'acqua calda ma è l'unico neo, per il resto la guesthouse é un una posizione invidiabile una volta trovata (Varanasi è un labirinto di viuzze). Sonu secondo noi sarebbe anche una ottima guida!

Очень многое. Было позднее заселение, но хозяин отеля даже не отвечал на телефон, чтобы рассказать где они расположены. Улица в данном отеле узкая и транспорт не едит никакой туда, поэтому с вещами долго пришлось искать отель. Готовьтесь к тому что в номере душно и жарко, элементарных средств гигиены - нет! Кухни нет! Посуды нет! Холодильник спускаться на 1 этаж и места мало. Постельное белье не менялось. А покрывало на 2-х местную кровать только одна! Номер старый и давно не было ремонта. Я вообще не понимаю за что такой рейтинг. Связи нет, электричество отключают переодически! Трансфер обратно не организовали. Никому не рекомендую данный отель для заселения.

In a quiet corner of a busy area. Convenient, simple, no dramas.

Nothing to be bothered by. Just a little more tidying up in bathroom and common areas would have made it shine more.

Marigold Guest House is absolutely the perfect place to stay in Varanasi. The place is clean and very looked after. I booked the single room, which was not super big but clean and very cosy, equipped with the necessary, bed was comfortable, bathroom was spacious, tidy with hot water. There are so many books at the entrance and a pleasant couch where you can read and relax. From the rooftop you have a beautiful view of the Ganga and the city and Sonu organizes super nice yoga lessons. Position is great, in a quiet and so colourful street, only two minutes walk from the main ghats and close to a lot of nice restaurants and temples. Very good valute for money. Sonu, the manager, is the best host in the world! He is so helpful, giving you great advices and tips, he really cares about the guests and to make an enjoyable stay for them. He also offers sunrise and sunset boat tour to see the beauty of Varanasi from the river. I will go back for sure for my next trip to Varanasi. Definitely recommended! :)

Nice attentions from the persons and many services for reservations , journeys, visits .... Large rooms and bathrooms and quick answer from the reception.

When families comme , it is very noisy and also during the night . It has to be indicate to keep silence in common places in the hotel . the service for the beakfast is a little bit slow;

The location is in the old city which can be hard to access with luggage as it must be walked in some distance, but this is what we were seeking.

The place was clean and met our basic needs, especially the aircon, but the service was poor, disinterested and offhand, eg no one offered to help me with my case up or down 2 flights. The room was satisfactory but my towel was so thin and frayed that it kept getting caught on stuff!
