A very special location, with a nice veranda and wonderful view to the lake. The 3 sisters running the pension do everything to make your stay pleasant. This familiar atmosphere and the wonderful breakfast are highly to recommend!

Absolutely stunning. Great location, nice and clean room with the great lake view, loving and caring attitude from the hosts (like you are at your parents house) and the breakfast that is exceeding any expectations 🙏 we are happy that decided to spend a night in here.

We loved our stay at Gol Pension. We were driving from Bodrum and got in late because of a storm, and our hosts waited up for us, made sure we were comfortable, and recommended a place that was open late for dinner. The room was comfortable and clean with a lovely balcony looking out onto the water. The room was very inexpensive and it came with the best Turkish breakfast we had our entire trip. You don't order anything, they just keep bringing out plate after plate of tasty things. Clearly all deliciously homemade by our very nice hosts. Our only wish was that we could have stayed longer in Egridir! Truly beautiful spot.

Literally nothing.

EVERYTHING! The location, the rooms, the terrace, the view from the terrace, the stupendous breakfasts, the afternoon tea and cakes, the wonderful three sisters who own and run it… EVERYTHING!

That we had to leave after two nights.

The 3 sisters who run this property are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and the views from the Pension which is right by the lake are wonderful. It is a very quiet and peaceful location. The Halikarnas restaurant opposite the Pension is very good

Lovely and cosy family house pension on the Egirdir peninsula. One of the cleanest rooms we ever stayed in! Breakfast (with lake view!) was nice, freshly made and more than we could eat. The sisters were very helpful, unthought they don’t speak one word of English (and we obviously don’t speak any Turkish). Since Egirdir is on the Citaslow-list, it’s a great place to escape the hassle of the big city for a day or two.

A really lovely and memorable family that runs the place. It's a chill location, being on the "island", and the pension is a peaceful place, quite comfortable, with a terrific breakfast. There are several restaurants nearby that offer affordable and tasty fried fish. Fair warning, though: the lake is not what it used to be (falling water level and vegetation growing in the lake) -- it's beautiful, but if you're expecting adventures on the water, this is no longer the place.

I realize that part of what you're paying for is proximity to the lake and the view of it you can get from the property (which is obstructed by trees from some angles), but the room really does seem to me to overpriced for being a relatively humble room in a homey pension.
