"Apart from a minor booking mix up. I would definitely book again, very pleasant and extremely clean."

Comfortable room, bed was very nice and the complete room and en-suite was very clean.

Ordered the room through Booking.com the order was confirmed as a room with a Shower / Bath as I requested but on arrival the room had already been booked and a slightly limited breakfast.

"Home from home in Ashburton"

Repeat visit, delightful people, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Great breakfast with homemade breads and preserves. Right in the centre of Ashburton. Highly recommend.

"Excellent stay with great hosts, in fine building within lovely small Devon town"

The hosts, Chris and Susie; The lovely building, full of character, history and slightly unexpected sloping floors! The splendid, freshly-made, breakfasts; The surrounding quaint village, with very easy access to the A38 and major roads beyond. The extra large, very comfortable bed, in a good size room, with en suite bathroom and very good shower.

There is nothing we didn't like, and everything we did!

Comfortable, clean and spacious with a homely yet elegant decor. Location was fantastic in the heart of the village,, but not as good as our hosts . Sue , Chris, Josh and Anna made us feel so welcome yet looked after us in a positive and professional manner .

One could try and question parking but you can easily drop off items and find a spot a short distance away ..

"Very good, would stay again"

Great welcome from hosts. Great location for cookery school and also for non cooks. Close to Dartington Hall, Buckfast Abbey, Totnes etc. Ashburton has a fair number of small individual shops. Very good breakfast.

Breakfast was delightful... Light and full... Not full English but we found that liberating
