Home from home feeling. Very friendly and supportive hosts. It is very close to Augrabies Nature Reserve yet a perfect distant from the hustle and bustle for a quiet and secluded stay.

Ria-Lize, the owner, is a lovely person and received us with a beautiful smile and warm welcome. The accommodation is beautiful and very comfortable. It's tranquil and so restful. It's just a short drive to Augrabies National Park from there. It was well worth it and we enjoyed our stay at Avonsrus.

That we only had one night to spend there.

"The relaxing reset needed for the new year"

It a stone throw from the river, which is magnificent especially during sunsets. A drive through the 0vineyards is as calming as it is beautiful. All this before even seeing the amazing Augrabies dFalls which is just a short drive away

As it's the countryside, be sure to plan and pack supplies that wouldn't be at a small town general store . As charming as it is, it might catch cityfolks expecting more options unprepared.

The guesthouse was exceptionally well-kept, and our hosts, Ria-Lize and Jaco, were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. The peaceful environment and charming décor made our stay truly memorable.

Honestly, there was nothing to dislike. Everything exceeded our expectations.
