Good communication from owner. Room was clean and in a quiet safe neighborhood within walking distance of shops and restaurants. On street parking was easy to find, although limited to 2 hour between 7am-7pm (not a problem for me).

Whole night there was marijuana in the room. I was with my kid. Very bad experience. There was also heavy smell of food from the common kitchen in the room. No where it said in the ad, there are 2 shared bathrooms. For shower different and for toilet different. The toilet was kids toilet. We didn’t showered. Worst experience. Mainly marijuana smell in the room whole night. Completely unacceptable.

The location to JHU was great. It was very walkable. Food and everything was very close. JHU guard outside of the house at all times.

I don't know what I was expecting, but it was not what I expected. Instructionsand address weren't given until an hour before arrival. There was no information on parking. Parking was street (parallel) parking that was free between 7 pm to 7 am. Knowing that you may not find something near the house would have been helpful in advance. Tiny restroom on 1st floor but full bath on the second floor. Both bathrooms are shared with the other rooms in the house. I'm not sure I knew the full restroom was upstairs. Upon a 12 hr drive and looking for parking to get into the house, the first thing I needed/wanted was a bathroom. After using the tiny bathroom, I was so weirded out, I almost grabbed my daughter and said let's go the hotel down the street. She found the other bathroom and convinced me it wasn't as bad as I imagined. It was nothing major or bad. Just unexpected. And if you plan on staying, bring your own towels and shower accessories. They provide a giant paper towel without anything else in the bathrooms.

Good value. Easy close on street parking. Pretty neighborhood. Restaurants close. Quiet residents. 2 bedrooms downstairs. 3 BR upstairs. Room spacious enough. Common LR and kitchen. No room fridge. Quiet enough neighborhood.
