Beaucliffe continental

The hosts were so friendly, they allowed us into our room early, and helped explain the tram system and where to go for our dinner reservations. The room was beautiful and spacious, the beds comfy, the tea and coffee plentiful and the shower (although it didn't look it) was powerful! We loved the hairdryer and straighteners too and a mini fridge, a nice touch. It was so cold in the room even with the central heating on but as soon as we made them aware we had an extra oil heater brought up and it was so toasty.

When I made the booking there was only an option for a continental breakfast, they also reaffirmed this when we checked in, we had accepted this but when we woke up on the Sunday morning it was to the smell of bacon. We went down to eat our cereal and fruit in a freezing cold dining room while other people were enjoying a cooked breakfast in the main lounge area. This really annoyed me as given the choice I would happily of paid extra for a hot breakfast.

Lovely, spacious and clean bedroom with enough room for the three of us to spread out and make ourselves at home so that we could totally relax during our stay.

I hadn't realised when I booked through Booking.com that the breakfast was continental but it wasn't a problem as the alternative options available were delicious and plentiful.

The staff were great, really attentive. Hotel and room really quiet, went for a run in the morning on the beach which is well located

Very friendly and helpful staff, comfy beds, nice and spacious room. We really liked the location of the hotel, not far from the tower and there is plenty of free parking nearby. The prettiest illuminations are definitely that side of town. We would have missed them if it wasn't for the hotel owner who advised us to check them out. Thank you!

Lovely hotel. Games room was great for the kids. Staff were so lovely and very helpful. Great location.
