Fantastic guesthouse on an amazing island. Really well equipped, everything you need as a base for exploring!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The accomodation was very clean, comfortable and well-equipped. The host is very kind and helpful. We will definitely stay there again and highly recommend it to other travelers.

I loved having a kitchen with pots, plates, microwave and refrigerator for the food I did bring. Did find there was a great restaurant on the island after all (Kirin) with great food and a small town feel. I loved the guesthouse. Had an inviting common area, warm inside. Gaga was wonderful and grew up on the island. She bent over backwards to be available and give rides should we want one. I did bring a car but found it unnecessary to get around but nice in my situation given my pile of photographic items and cold weather clothes. This island is amazing. Maybe the puffin capital of the planet. It is a great place to reflect in an incredible natural and wild setting with the wind, cliffs and openness.

I like everything

The location on Grímsey was excellent, especially with views of the seabirds. The house is very well maintained and cost, with opportunities to use the kitchen and enjoy the sitting and dining rooms. The owners were kind and generous, including by always being available to give rides and to supply advice.

My pillow was a bit flat, but that is Icelandic i guess.
