Great place to stay! The room was perfect – clean and comfortable, with everything you need including coffee, tea and water. Wendy provided excellent service and was very friendly. Breakfast was really nice and the price is the best you’ll find in Cambridge. I definitely recommend this accommodation!

Breakfast was great with many choices, and Wendy made eggs fresh for every guest. There was always a bowl of fresh berries to add to your plate, along with a fresh pot of coffee or tea.

A wonderful breakfast and a very kind host

Wendy is lovely, breakfast was fab (scrambled eggs and salmon). There's a good pub but you need to drive - fortunately there's a superb fish and chip shop and you can eat in - 5 minute walk and really excellent food. Shower was lovely and hot.

Bed was noisy / mattress springs.

Very clean. Excellent breakfast. Nice windows that opened for fresh air.

Room was rather small for two adults and the twin beds were not very comfortable. Walls were thin and the person in the adjacent room snored loudly, keeping us awake.

-Ontzettend aardige eigenaresse die elke ochtend echt een superontbijt verzorgde met o.a. een grote schaal vol gesneden vers fruit, toast, croissant, yoghurt, muesli, eieren (gebakken, scrambled, gekookt) enz. enz. Er was daarbij keuze uit verschillende soorten (Engels, continental, etc.) ; -De ‘landlady’ informeerde dagelijks of de kamer moest worden schoongemaakt en of bed moest worden verschoond; -Kleine probleempje met sanitair werd direct opgelost; -Kortom heel service gericht en aardig en dat terwijl mevrouw met gezondheidsproblemen kampte; -toegang tot de aardige tuin achter het gebouw. -De kamer is voorzien een waterkoker, oploskoffie, diverse soorten thee en koekjes (welke werden aangevuld) en beschikte over een fijne badkamer; -2 stekker adapters voor nederlandse stekkers aanwezig; -bushalte om de hoek met 4x per uur verbinding met het centrum.

Niet echt tegenvallend maar: -als je op zoek bent naar een ruime kamer met een zithoekje dan moet je verder zoeken; die ene warme (afhaal-)maaltijd hebben we op bed gegeten; -er is geen koelkastje dat gebruikt kan worden; -New Market road is een tamelijk drukke weg.
