Parasol dore

Beautiful ocean view with doors that open up. Nice staff. Delicious breakfast. Nice linen/cotton shop. Good restaurants short Tuk Tuk ride away.

Hard to swim with shallow waters and waves but 5 minute walk to Turtle Beach which is very swimmable

Beautifully presented rooms. Amazing location on a quiet beach with a private feel. Lovely breakfast provided each day and fresh filtered water available at all times.

The best bars and restaurants are a tuktuk ride away closer to hirikitiyah - but the beach at parasol Dor was much nicer.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt im Parasol dore. Es gibt nur drei Zimmer, dadurch fühlt sich alles sehr privat und familiär an. Die Aussicht, die Einrichtung sowie das Personal ist wirklich der Wahnsinn. Das Frühstück war das beste, das wir in Sri Lanka bisher bekommen haben. Auch wenn das Hotel doch etwas teurer ist, lohnt sich hier unserer Meinung nach ein Aufenthalt.

Beautiful little hotel in a great location. The beach was beautiful and quiet, but just a couple of minutes walk up the beach to the next bay where you'll find lots of people, sheltered swimming and a few bars/cafes. Perfect balance for us.

Das Parasol Dore war das Highlight unserer Sri Lanka Rundreise. Das Zimmer, der Pool und die direkte Lage am Strand - einfach ein Traum. Dazu das äußerst liebenswerte und freundliche Personal. Die Umgebung bietet auch sehr viel zum unternehmen auch wenn man die Unterkunft eigentlich gar nicht verlassen möchte weil es dort so schön ist. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls sehr lecker. Wir alle drei (auch unser Sohn 9 Jahre) haben es geliebt hier den Jahreswechsel zu verbringen

Chambre magnifique, très bien aménagée et très propres. Acces direct a la plage. Déjeuner incroyable. Le personnel est exceptionnel et aux petits soins. Top endroit et bravo aux proprios ;-)

Parasole Dore surpassed our expectations. The photos aren’t able to capture the sense of peace from spending 7 days right on this beautiful beach. Nothin can be better than Waking up and going to sleep with the sound of crashing waves, the exceptional breakfasts (best we had in our 2 week stay) but most of all the kindness of all the staff. We travelled with our 10 month old baby and everyone went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. We stayed 8 nights but could have spent longer. It is the perfect base to explore the whole surrounding area or stay put and truly relax. Thank you Jeremy, Julie, Roshan and team.
